Medieval art was weird - so we put it on stuff

I’ve always enjoyed Medieval-era art a good deal. It tends to be a bit silly and fun, in contrast to the often bleak scenes which are being depicted. A sort of grim, unintentional comedy. My personal enjoyment of the art was deepened after discovering Weird Medieval Guys, a social media account finding the best and…shall we say brightest of the characters depicted in Medieval art. The collection you see below is a sampling of my favorite “guys” posted on the Weird Medieval Guys’ Twitter, lovingly reproduced in hand painting on caps, bucket hats, and tote bags.

Aside from Weird Medieval Guys, I have also included the original sourcing of all the paintings within the product descriptions, where available.
